Seasonal Tip of the Month: Don’t ignore your gutters
For the winter season, make sure your gutters are clear and if possible direct your downspouts to areas sloping away from your home or even better if pointed toward landscape in your yard for those dry summer months ahead. Leaky gutters can cause foundation problems, window and door rot and huge issues when moisture leads into the inside of your home! The tip of the month is clean your gutters in between the storms and to make sure they don’t get clocked with leafs and debris and that water is being put use in anyway we can.
